7.2About Power-On Self-Test (POST) Diagnostics

The POST diagnostic code resides in flash PROM on the main logic board. The flash PROM that holds the POST code is known as the OpenBoot PROM (OBP) because it also holds the OpenBoot Diagnostic code.
