Accessing the System Board from the Front
Printer Memory
To install or remove memory, you must access the printer system board which is under the input tray. Follow these steps:
1 | Unplug the printer power cord. |
2 | Disconnect all cables from the back of the printer. |
3 | Remove the input tray and output bin unit. |
| A Grasp underneath the unit, and pull up hard to a 45° |
| angle until it releases from the printer. |
B Hold the unit at this angle and pull it away from the printer.

Remove the system board access cover.
ALocate the tab on the access cover and push it toward the printer.
BGrasp the tab and lift the access cover until it touches the metal bar.
CPull the access cover straight out from the printer.
