Command Line Interface

23.1 Overview

This chapter introduces the MES-2110’s command line interface (CLI).

23.1.1 Console Port Management

To manage the MES-2110 using the CLI:

1Connect your computer to the console port on the MES-2110 using the appropriate cable.

2Use terminal emulation software with the following settings:

Baud Rate	9600

Parity	None

Number of Data Bits	8

Number of Stop Bits	1

Flow Control	None

3Press [ENTER] to trigger the login screen.

23.1.2 Logging in

Use the administrator password to log into the MES-2110. The default value administrator login username and password are: admin and 1234.

The MES-2110 automatically logs you out of the management interface after five minutes of inactivity. If this happens, simply log back in again.
