Access Lists Protocol translation software supports access lists, which make it pos-
sible to limit access to the access server from X. 25 host s . Access lists
take advantage of the messa ge field defined by Recommendation
X.29, which describes procedures for exchanging data between two
PADs or between a PAD and a DTE device.
To define X.29 access lists, perform these tasks:
zCreate an Access List
zApply an Access List to a Line
When configuring protocol tran slation, you can specify an access list
number with each translate command. When translation sessions
result from incoming PAD connections, the corresponding X.29 ac
cess list is used.
