AI2524 Router Card User’s Manual

Global Configuration Mode Commands

Global configuration commands apply to features that affect the sys- tem as a whole. Use the configure privileged EXEC command to enter global configuration mode. When you enter this command, the system EXEC prompts you for the source of the configuration com- mands:

Configuring from terminal, memory, or network [terminal]?

You can specify either the terminal, nonvolatile random access mem- ory (NVRAM), or a file stored on a network server as the source of configuration commands. The default is to enter commands from th terminal console. Pressing <Enter> begins this configuration method.
