Trap UDP Port – Specifies the UDP port number used by the trap manag er.
Trap Version – Indicates if the user is running SNMP v1, v2c, or v3 . (Default: v1)
Trap Security Level – When trap version 3 is selected, you must specify one of
the following security levels. (Default: noAuthNoPriv)
- noAuthNoPriv – There is no authenticat ion or encryp tion used in SNMP
communications.
- AuthNoP riv – SNMP communications us e authenticat ion, but the data is not
encrypted (only available for the SNMPv3 security model).

– SNMP communications use both authentication and encryption (only
available for the SNMPv3 security model).
Trap Inform – Notifications are sent as inform mes sages. N ote that this o ption is
only available for version 2c and 3 hosts. (Default: traps are used)
- Timeout – The number of seconds to wait for an ac knowled gment be fore
resending an inform message. (Range: 0-2147483647 centiseconds;
Default: 1500 centiseconds)
- Retry times – The maximum number of times to rese nd an info rm messa ge if
the recipient does not acknowledge receipt. (Range: 0-255; Default: 3)
Enable Authentication Traps3 – Issues a no tific ation m essa ge to specif ied IP
trap managers whenever authentication of an SNMP request fails.
(Default: Enabled)
Enable Link-up and Link-down Traps 3 – Issues a notifica tion m essage
whenever a port link is established or broken. (Default: Enabled)
