Command Usage
Setting a lower value indicates a higher effective priori ty.
If an active port link goes down, the backup port with the highest p riority is
selected to replace the downed link. Howev er, if two or more ports ha ve the
same LACP port priority, the port with the lowest physical port number will be
selected as the backup port.
Once the remot e side of a link has been est ablished, LACP oper ational
settings are already in use on that side. Configuring LACP settings for the
partner only applies to its administrative state, not its operational state, and will
only take effect the next time an aggregate link is established with the partner.
Example
Console(config)#interface ethernet 1/5
Console(config-if)#lacp actor port-priority 128
show lacp
