Command Usage
Use this command in conjunction with the
show startup-config
command to
compare the information in running memory to the information stored in
non-volatile memory.
This command displays se tt ings for key command modes. Each mode group
is separated by “!” symbols, and includes the configuration mode command,
and corresponding commands. This command displays the following
information:
- MAC address for each switch in the stack
- SNTP server settings
- SNMP community strings
- Users (names, acce ss l evels, a nd e ncryp ted pa sswords)
- VLAN database (VLAN ID, name and st ate)
- VLAN configuration settings for each interfa ce
- Multiple spannin g tr ee ins tanc es (na me and i nte rfaces)
- IP address configured for VLA Ns
- Layer 4 precedence settings
- Routing protocol configuration set tings
- Spanning tree settings
- Any configured settings for the consol e port and Telne t
