Displaying LLDP Remote Port Information
Use the LLDP Remote Port/Trunk Information screen to display information about
devices connected directly to the switch’s ports which are advertising information
through LLDP.
Field Attributes
• Local Port – The local port to which a remote LLDP-ca pable de vice is attached .
• Chassis ID – An octet string indicating the specific ident ifier for the pa rticular
chassis in this system.
• Port ID – A string that contains the specific identifier f or the port from which this
LLDPDU was transmitted.
• Port Name – A string that indicates the port’s des criptio n. If RFC 286 3 is
implemented, the ifDescr object should be used for thi s field.
• System Name – An string that ind icates the s ystem ’s adm inistrat ively assi gned
name.
