Command Usage
This command sets the local time zone relative to the Coordinated U niversal
Time (UTC, formerly Greenwich Mean Time or GMT), based on the earth’s
prime meridian, zero degrees longitude. To display a time corr esponding to
your local time, you must indicate the num ber of hours a nd minute s your time
zone is east (before) or west (after) of UT C.

clock summer-time (date)
This command sets the start, end, and offset times of summer-time (daylight savings
time) for the switch on a one-time basis. Use the
no
form to disable summer-time.

• name - Name of the time zone while summer-time is in effect, usually an
acronym. (Range: 1-30 characters)
