Chapter 8: Port Configuration

Displaying Connection Status

You can use the Port Information or Trunk Information pages to display the curren t
connection status, including link state, speed/duplex mode, flo w control, a nd
auto-negotiation.
Field Attributes
(Web)
Name – Interface label.
Type – Indica tes the port type. (1000BA SE-T, SFP, or 10G)
Admin Sta tus – Shows if the interfac e is enabled or disabled .
Oper Status – Indicates if the link is Up or Do wn.
Speed Duplex Status – Shows the curren t spe ed and duplex mo de.
(Auto, or fixed choice)
Flow Control Status – Indi cates the ty pe of flow co ntrol cu rrentl y in use.
(IEEE 802.3x, Back-Pressure or None)
Autonegotiation – Shows if auto-negotiation is enabl ed or disabl ed.
Media Type 4 – Shows the forc ed/p re ferr ed por t type to use for com bin ation por ts
21-24 (IC40240-10G) or 45-48 (
IC40480-10G
). (Copper-Forced, SFP-Forced,
SFP-Preferred-Auto)
Trunk Member4 – Shows if port is a tru nk member.
Creation5 – Shows if a trunk is manually configured or d ynami cally set vi a LACP.
Web
– Click Port, Port Information or Trunk Information.
