Default Setting
The DSCP default values are defined in the following tab le. Note that all the
DSCP values that are not specified a re mapped to CoS val ue 0.

Command Usage
The precedence for priority mapping is IP Port, IP Preced ence or IP DSCP,
and default switchport priority.
• DSCP priority values are mapp ed to default Class of Service values accord ing
to recommendations in the IEEE 802.1p standard, and then subsequently
mapped to the eight hardware priority queues.
This command sets the IP DSCP prio rity for a ll interfa ces.
Example
The following example shows how to map IP DSCP value 1 to CoS value 0:
Console(config)#interface ethernet 1/5
Console(config-if)#map ip dscp 1 cos 0
Console(config-if)#
show map ip port
This command shows the IP port priority map.
