timeout login response
This command sets the interval that the system waits fo r a user to log into the CL I.
Use the
no
form to restore the default setting.
Syntax
timeout login response
[seconds]
no timeout login response
seconds - Integer that specifies the timeout interval.
(Range: 0 - 300 seconds; 0: disabled)
Default Setting
• CLI: Disabled (0 seconds)
• Telnet: 300 seconds

If a login attempt is not detected within the timeout interval, the connectio n is
terminated for the session.
This command applies to both the local console a nd T elnet conne ctions .
The timeout for Telnet cannot be disabled .
Using the command without spe cifying a tim eout rest ores the defau lt setting .
Example
To set the timeout to two minutes, enter this command:
