Frame Size Commands
This section describes commands used to configure the Ethernet frame size on the
switch.

Command Usage
This switch provides more efficient throughpu t for larg e sequent ial data
transfers by supporting jumbo frames up to 9216 byte s. Compa red to
standard Ethernet frames that run only up to 1.5 KB, using jumbo fra mes
significantly reduces the per-packet overhead required to process protocol
encapsulation fields.
To use jumbo frames, both the so urce and dest inati on end n odes ( such as a
computer or server) must support this feature. Als o, when th e connec tion is
operating at full duplex, all switches in the network between the two end nodes
must be able to accept the extended frame siz e. And for half -dupl ex
