silent-time
This command sets the amount of time the management console is in accessible
after the number of unsuccessful logon attempts exceed s the thresh old set by th e
password-thresh
command. Use the
no
form to remove the silent time value.
Syntax
silent-time
[seconds]
no silent-time
seconds - The number of seconds to disable console response.
(Range: 0-65535; 0: no silen t-time)
Default Setting
The default value is no silent-time.

To set the silent time to 60 seconds, enter this command:

This command sets the number of data bits per character that are interprete d and
generated by the console port. Use the
no
form to restore the default value.
Syntax
databits {7 | 8}
no databits
7 - Seven data bits per character.
8 - Eight data bits per character.

devices that generate 7 data bits with parity. If parity is being generated,
