Command Usage
You can mirror traffi c from an y source port to a destin ation port for real-ti me
analysis. You can then attach a logic analyzer or RMO N probe t o the
destination port and study the traffic crossing the source port in a comp lete ly
unobtrusive manner.
The destinatio n port is set by sp ecifying an Ethernet in terface.
The mirror port and monitor port speeds should match, ot herw ise traffic may
be dropped from the monitor port.
You can create multiple mirror sessions, but all sessions must share the same
destination port. However, you should avoid sen ding too much traffic t o the
destination port from multiple source ports.
