How to Use Label Strips

1.Type or print the appropriate

outside line num- ber* or name† on each label.

2.Crease the per- forated edges, then tear out each label strip.

3.Insert the label strips into the slots on the console. Slot numbers on the black tabs in- dicate the correct slot for the strip. Slot 1 is on the far Ieft* slot 7 is on the far right.

*Note the control unit jack numbers (A0-F4) printed on the line button labels for slots 1-4. Label each button with the telephone number of the outside line that is plugged into the control unit jack whose number is printed on the button label.

†The numbers (10-79) printed on the button labels for slots 57 are voice terminaI intercom numbers for each shift level the button represents. Label each intercom button with the appropriate per- son’s name.
