7.Close the printer cover.

CDo not try to move the ink cartridge holder manually. Attempting to do so may damage the print mechanism.

8. Press STOP on the operation panel.

9.Clean the new print head.

If the LCD displays the CHANGE CARTRIDGE message, repeat these steps until the date and time appear.
