1. Routing the Scanner Drive Cable

Route the cable as shown by q through !0; then, adjust the cable tension and mirror position as described.

Loosen thee	Attach the mirror
screw,and shift
	positioning tool.

Re-tighten
the screw.

Set screws	!0
	Loosen the set
w	screws to enable
	free rotation.

Put the steel ball into the hole in the pulley; wind the cable nine times toward the inside, and four times toward the outside; then, snap

on the pulley clip.

Caution:

When attaching the wire spring, pay attention to the orientation of the spring; see the diagrams below. If not attached correctly, its hook tip could interfere with the cable.
