To connect the client to a new server:
Step1 (Optional) If you want to determine the default host name before you connect to
the new server, it is contained in the SERVER_NAME entry in the
System.properties file:
If you installed SGM in the default directory, /opt, then the location of the
System.properties file is /opt/CSCOsgm/properties/System.properties.
If you installed SGM in a different directory, then the System.properties file
is located in that directory.
Step2 Select File > Connect to New Server from the SGM Main Menu. SGM displays
the Connect to New Server Dialog (Figure3-93).

Step3 Enter the name of the new server, or its IP address, in the Server Name or IP
Address field.
Step4 Enter the SGM Naming Server UDP port number for the new server in the Name
Server Port field. The default value is 44742.
Step5 Click OK. SGM stops the SGM client, then restarts the client connected to the
new server.
