2.7.29 AUTOSW-SDBER
Default Severity: Not Alarmed (NA), Non-Service-Affecting(NSA)
Logical Object: STSMON
The Automatic Path Protection Switch Caused by Signal Degrade Bit Error Rate (SDBER) condition
indicates that a “SD-P” condition on page 2-124 caused automatic path protection switching to occur. If
the path protection is configured for revertive switching, the path protection reverts to the working path
when the SD-P is resolved.
Note This condition is only reported if the path protection is set up for revertive switching.

Clear the AUTOSW-SDBER Condition

Step1 Complete the “Clear the SD-P Condition” procedure on page2-125.
Step2 If the condition does not clear, log into the Technical Support Website at
http://www.cisco.com/techsupport for more information or call CiscoTAC (1-800-553-2447).

Logical Object: STSMON
The Automatic USPR Switch Caused by Signal Fail Bit Error Rate (SFBER) condition indicates that a
“SF-P” condition on page2-126 caused automatic path protection switching to occur. If the path
protection is configured for revertive switching, the path protection reverts to the working path when the
SF-P is resolved.
Note This condition is only reported if the path protection is set up for revertive switching.
