____________________ Notes ____________________

You can have up to two I/O riser modules in a QBB, but you cannot split them across partitions.

Each I/O riser has two cable connections (Port 0 and Port 1). Ensure that both cables from one I/O riser are connected to the same PCI drawer (0-Rand 1-Rin Figure 2–1).

A QBB I/O riser (local) is connected to a PCI I/O riser (remote) by BN39B cables. These cables are the same cables that are used with MC2 hardware. Ensure that you connect the BN39B cable from a QBB I/O riser to the 0-R(I/O Riser 0) or 1-R(I/O Riser 1) connector in a PCI drawer and not to

a Memory Channel module.

Using GS80, GS160, or GS320 Hard Partitions in a TruCluster Server Configuration 7–3
