7.1.4SCBUS_LISTEN – Connect Switch Timeslot to LIU Timeslot
Synopsis
This command establishes a connection from the switch to an outgoing timeslot on the Line Interface Unit (LIU).
Note: Dynamic modification of voice paths can only be performed by issuing messages directly to the board. The MVD_MSG_SC_LISTEN message is recommended for this purpose.
Syntax
SCBUS_LISTEN <board_id> <liu_id> <timeslot> <sc_channel>

Parameters
The SCBUS_LISTEN command includes the following parameters:
•<board_id>
The logical identity of the board in the range from 0 to one less than the number of boards supported.
•<liu_id>
The identifier of the T1/E1/J1 Line Interface Unit (LIU) in the range 0 to one less than the number of LIUs.
•<timeslot>
The timeslot number on the T1/E1/J1 LIU on which the data from the switch will be transmitted. The valid ranges are:
—For a T1 interface: 1 to 24.
—For an E1 interface: 1 to 31.
—For a J1 interface: 1 to 24.
•<sc_channel>
The channel number on the switch to which the LIU will listen. This should be in the range from 0 to one less than the total number of channels on the switch.
