6.Press the tab (2) in front of the power supply, slide the power supply toward the front of the computer, and then lift the power supply out of the chassis (3).

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 76).

2.Remove the computer access panel (Computer Access Panel on page 77).

3.When replacing the system board, make sure the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:

Memory modules (seeMemory on page 82)

Expansion cards (Expansion Card on page 86)

Fan sink (Fan sink on page 115).

Processor (Processor on page 117)

4.Remove the computer access panel (Computer Access Panel on page 77).

5.Disconnect all cables connected to the system board, noting their location for reinstallation.
