Printing on Transparencies

Transparency Guidelines

Only use transparencies recommended for use in laser printers, such as HP transparency film. (See page 2-21 for ordering information.) See Appendix B for media specifications.

∙Print transparencies from Tray 1.

∙Use the top output tray to reduce curling (this is for transparencies only, for other media use back output tray to reduce curling).

∙To avoid transparencies from sticking together, remove any transparencies in the output tray before printing another transparency.

∙Place transparencies on a flat surface after removing from the printer.
