Printing Instructions for the Infrared Port

1Make sure the printer is in ready state (Ready [front] light on).

2Align an IrDA-compliant computer within 3 feet (1 meter) of the IR Port. Ensure that the ports are facing each other with no more than 15 degrees angle to either the left or right.

3Send the print job from the computer. The IR status light will turn on when the connection has been made.
