With the Sharp lines set to Auto or On in the front-panel menu, the plotter may not always produce an addressable 600 dpi plot. This may be because:

You have not selected Best on the front-panel Print Quality key, refer to page 5-13.

You are using media other than Coated paper, Opaque bond or Matte film.

Your application-software driver is overriding the front±panel selection.

You are plotting a color raster image or a line drawing combined with a color raster image.
