•In order to ensure local access to command mode functions, Port 1 (the System Setup Port) cannot be set to Buffer Mode or Passive Mode.
•The Port Mode for Port 7 (Internal Modem Port) will always be set to Modem Mode and cannot be changed.

•DTR Output: Determines how DTR will react when this port disconnects. DTR can be held low, held high, or pulsed for 0.5 seconds and then held high. In the default state, DTR will pulse for 0.5 seconds and then remain high. For more information on hardware lines, please refer to Appendix A. (Default = Pulse.)
When Port Mode is set to Modem Mode, the Port Parameters Menu will include additional prompts which are used to define the following:
