Wi-FiWireless Fidelity. A common “shorthand” name for wireless computer networking.

WPA Wi-Fi Protected Access. A class of systems to secure wireless (Wi-Fi)computer networks. WPA is designed to work with pre-WPAwireless network interface cards (through firmware upgrades), but not necessarily with first generation wireless access points. WPA2 implements the full standard, but will not work with some older network cards.

WPA Key A WPA key is an encryption key for wireless networking devices.

WPS Wireless Provisioning Services. A standards-based and integrated platform to provide secure Wi-Fi hotspots. WPS enables enterprises to easily provide guest access with enhanced security to private wireless Internet and corporate networks.
