Removing a Remote Terminal Adaptor (RTA)To remove an RTA from your RIO system proceed as follows;
1. Turn off the power to the RTA you want to remove and disconnect the power lead from
the unit
2. Disconnect the lin k cables from the unit
3. Disconnect any per ipheral cables from the unit, for example printer, terminal and so on.
4. Update to your system for the revised configuration. The exact procedure for this will
depend on the operating system, see the following for details;
