Enabled? > TTYenabled Allows you to connect a terminal
directly to the currently selected port
when enabled.

Modem enabled Allows you to connect a modem to the
currently selected port when enabled
(the associated transparent print
device will be enabled as well).

Both disabled Allows you to connect dev ices
other than terminals or modems to the currently selected port.

Getty entry Selects the default getty entry in the
tty configuration.

TTY type Selects the type of terminal connected
to the current selected port.
Chars/sec Sets the transparent print speed.
Force ixon Forces software flow control on a port
when enabled.
Force -ixany Some applications enable the stty
ixany feature which allows any
character to be accepted as an xon
to the port.
By default, the RIO driver prevents the
use of ixany (that is, it sets the -
ixany flag), and this parameter is set
to Yes. To use ixany, set this field to
No.
Lock settings Allows you to pre vent the hardware
characteristics of a port being
changed. It also saves the port
settings across closes (but not across
reboots).
