3Place the battery plug in the slot in the battery box.

4Insert battery with the label readable.

5Replace the back cover.

6.4.1 Installing Battery on KIRK 5020 / 5040 Handsets

1To install the battery press down the back cover and slide it towards the bottom of the handset.

3Insert battery with the label readable.

4Replace the back cover by pressing the back cover back in the locked position (when you hear a click the back cover is in position).
