Note: It is recommended to select With User AC. When subscribing a new handset to the system it is possible to use an authentication code (AC). If you want to use the authentication code, you must select With User AC. For more information about subscription of handsets and authentication codes, refer to “Subscribing Handsets” on page 152.

6From the Tones list, select a ring tone.

7Enbloc Dialing check box:

8Local R-Key/Display Handling check box:

Call handler specific, refer to KWS600v3 Configuration Guide for the relevant call handler.

9DTMF through RTP channel check box:

Call handler specific, refer to KWS600v3 Configuration Guide for the relevant call handler.

10No display of Date and Time: Enable only if time should be displayed.

11From the Coder Preferences list, select a voice compression value that matches your telephony infrastructure.

12In the Framesize fields, type the desired frame length in milliseconds and then select either Exclusive or Silence Compression.

Note: If the Exclusive check box is selected for the coder, then the KWS600v3 is forced to use the coder.

13Click OK.

14Click Reset (under Administration menu) to save your configuration.

7.6.1.7 Configuring DECT Master (Primary)

On the Master page you can define which mode the KWS600v3 should operate in. You also establish a communication protocol between the Master KWS600v3 and a call handler.
