Sets the language.
Sets the date and time.

Synchronizes the time for multiple devices.
Setting the language
The menus can be displayed in one of several languages (English, French and Spanish). The default language setting is English.
1 Press the MENU button to select LANGUAGE/CLOCK SET, and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.

2 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
“ENGLISH” flashes.

3 Turn the jog dial to select the language (example: “FRANCAIS”), and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
The language is switched to French and the cursor moves to the date and time.

CLOCK SET settings
(default setting: 01-01-2002 TUE 00:00:00)
You should always set the date and time correctly. This digital video recorder includes the recording time with recorded images, and uses this time for playback and searching.
Example: To set the date and time to 8.30 a.m. on 22 May 2002
1 When the cursor is at the date and time setting, turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
“01” flashes.

2 Turn the jog dial to select “05: month”, and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
The cursor moves to the “01” month setting and flashes.

3 Use the same procedure to set the day (22), year (2002), hour (08), minutes (30) and seconds.
After the seconds have been set, the cursor moves to the ADJUST TIME setting for “EXT. CLOCK SET”, and counting starts from zero seconds.
Note: Time stops during clock setting.
