Dielectric Gel
Dielectric gel should be used to prevent corrosion of connection terminals. To ensure complete coating of ter- minals, liberally apply gel to both component and wire harness connector, plug connector to component, un- plug connector, reapply gel to both surfaces and recon- nect harness connector to component. Connectors should be thoroughly packed with gel for effective re- sults.

Battery Terminal Protector
Aerosol spray that should be used on battery terminals to reduce corrosion problems. Apply terminal protector after the battery cable has been secured to the battery terminal.

Use the Battery Hydrometer when measuring specific gravity of battery electrolyte. Obtain this tool locally.
