Removing the MDC/USB board

To remove the MDC/USB board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-27 to 4-29.

MDC model

1.Take out the RJ11 harness from the slot of the base assembly.

2.Remove the following screws securing the MDC/USB board.

• M2.5⋅6C Tapping screw ⋅2

3.Disconnect the modem/USB harness from the connector CN9770 on the MDC/USB board and connector CN9570 on the system board.

4.Remove the MDC/USB board (with the RJ11 harness) from the slot of the base assembly in the direction as shown in the figure below.

5.Disconnect the RJ11 harness from the connector on the MDC/USB board.
