4.2.2 Installing and Configuring Access Point

After preparing each CPT-8061 wireless scanner, you must install and configure the

3560 Bluetooth Access Point receiver. The 3560 Access Point unit contains a Bluetooth radio module that acts as a bridge between the wireless scanners and your local area network, allowing them to communicate with each other using short-range wireless technology operating in the 2.4 GHz band. Each Access Point allows up to seven wireless scanner units to communicate with your local area network. More than one Access Point can be installed in your network to support use of a large number of wireless scanners.
