3.6Receiving Purchase Orders – Receive PO Function (Selection 5)

The ReceivePO function in the Firmware menu (Selection 5) allows you to receive items as they are delivered to you. Furniture Wizard then determines whether the item has been delivered in fulfillment of a purchase order, a special order, or isn’t on an existing purchase order. If the item was not delivered in response to a purchase order, Furniture Wizard lets you create a purchase order so that you can receive the item. This section of the document contains the following subsections:

Label Setup

Furniture Wizard provides you with the capability of printing a variety of different types of labels (in a variety of sizes) for use during the receiving process. Prior to using the wireless scanner to perform receiving functions, you can specify, per supplier, and/or per specific inventory items, the desired sizing for each type of label. Tag sizes include label tag (Figure), 1-inch labels (Figure), large price tags (Figure ), small price tags (Figure ), sold warehouse labels (Figure) and regular warehouse labels (Figure). Sold warehouse tags contain “sold-to” customer information for received items that are fulfilling special orders, while regular warehouse tags are used to label items received into inventory (i.e., items not associated with special orders).
