5.1 Overview
The Appendix section contains the following sections:
Settings Worksheet - Use this worksheet to record your current local area
network, Access Point and server port settings. The purpose of the worksheet
is to make it easier to keep track of these settings for the configuration
activities you will be performing in Chapter 2 - Installation and
Configuration.
Scanner Firmware / Software Updates - CIPHER Labs and Furniture Wizard
Software continually update the scanner firmware, interface software that
allows the scanners to “talk” to Furniture Wizard. This section includes
instructions on how to upload firmware and software updates when you receive
them from CIPHER Labs or Furniture Wizard Software.
Optimizing the Furniture Wizard Database - This section contains
important information about optimizing the Furniture Wizard database when
using the CIPHER Lab wireless scanners and accompanying Ciphe r Scanner
Agent software.
