4.To access the scanner Kernel menu, simultaneously press the <7> and <1> and the <Power> key in the lower right front corner of the scanner. Wait

for the scanner to beep three times and then press <3> to select the Update Kernel option.

5.When the Load Program menu appears, press <1> (Cradle-IR)to start the firmware update upload process.
