8.Run the IRLoad.exe program from your C:\FW2000\Drivers\Cipher folder on which the serial cable is connected from the Communications cradle. Select the K8000- nnn.shx file (where ‘nnn’ is the firmware release number) provided by CIPHER Labs.

10.During the software upload process, a Please Wait Loading message appears in the display window on the scanner, and a progress bar appears on the connected PC. When the process is finished, a Downloaded Completely” Do you want to download another program? message appears in the display window on the scanner:
