DELETE LACP PORT

Syntax

delete lacp port=port [aggregator=name]

Parameters

port

Specifies the port to delete from an aggregator. You

can delete more than one port at a time. You can

specify the ports individually (for example, 5,7,22), as a

range (for example, 18-20), or both (for example, 1,14-

16).

aggregator

Specifies the name of the aggregator. The name is

case-sensitive. This parameter is optional.

Description

This command removes a port from an aggregator. You do not have to include the name of the aggregator in the command. If the port is not a member of an aggregator, this error message is displayed:

ERROR CODE = CLI_AGGREGATOR_KEY_DOES_NOT_EXIST

To completely remove an aggregator, see DESTROY LACP AGGREGATOR on page 210.

Caution

Disconnect the network cable from a port before removing it from an aggregator. Removing a port without first disconnecting the cable can result in loops in your network topology, which can result in broadcast storms and poor network performance.

Example

The following command removes port 9 from its current aggregator assignment:

delete lacp port=9

209
