DISABLE SWITCH PORT
Syntax
disable switch port=port
Parameter
port Specifies the port to disable. You can specify more
than one port at a time. You can specify the ports
individually (for example, 5,7,22), as a range (for
example, 18-23), or both (for example, 1,5,14-22).
Description
This command disables a port. Once disabled, a port stops forwarding
traffic. The default setting for a port is enabled. This command performs
the same function are the STATUS parameter in the SET SWITCH PORT
command.
Example
The following command disables ports 12 and 24:
disable switch port=12,24
