Chapter 5: Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) Commands

Syntax

enable sntp

Parameters

None.

Description

This command enables the SNTP client software on the switch. The default setting for SNTP is disabled. Once enabled, the switch will obtain its date and time from an SNTP server, assuming that you have specified a server IP address with ADD SNTPSERVER PEERIPADDRESS on page 71.
