Lower the transmission speed. See the Advanced: Send Fax dialog box (page 8-5) and the Advanced: Receive Fax dialog box (page 8-8).

The sending fax machine usually determines the fax’s quality. Call the sender and have them make sure the top cover and scanning glass on their fax machine are clean.
