Note RP cables are not available from Cisco, but are available from any commercial cable vendor.

The system console port on the PRP is a DCE

Refer to Figure
Step 1 Set your terminal to these operational values: 9600 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 2 stop bits (9600 8N2).
Step 2 Power off the data terminal.
Step 3 Attach the terminal end of the cable to the interface port on the data terminal. Step 4 Attach the other end of the cable to the PRP console port.
Step 5 Power on the data terminal.
