SET unit-number

Changes the characteristics of a unit.

Syntax

SET unit-number

Parameter

unit-number

Specifies the logical unit number to modify. The unit-numberis the name given to the unit when it was created using the ADD UNIT command.

Switches

Table 5–8lists all switches for the SET unit-numbercommand and shows which switches can be used with each type of device and storageset. Descriptions of the switches follow the table.
