Considerations for Planning a Striped Mirrorset

Plan the mirrorset members, then plan the stripeset that will contain them. Review the recommendations in “Considerations for Planning a Stripeset,” page 3–10,and “Considerations for Planning a Mirrorset,” page 3–13.

There are the following limitations for a striped mirrorset:

■A maximum of 24 mirrorsets in a stripeset

■A maximum of 6 disks in each mirrorset

■A maximum of 48 disks in the entire striped mirrorset
