Device Commands—Create and configure containers made from physical devices attached to the controller.

Storageset Commands—Create and configure complex containers made from groups of device containers. There are four basic types of storagesets: stripesets, RAIDsets, striped-mirrorsets, and mirrorsets. Storageset commands group device containers together and allow them to be handled as single units.

Logical Unit Commands—Create and optimize access to logical units made from containers.

Failover Commands—Configure the controllers to operate in transparent or multiple bus failover while also providing support for dual-redundant configurations.

Diagnostic and Utility Commands—Perform general controller support functions

Getting Help

Help for using the CLI is at your fingertips. For an overview of the CLI help system, enter help at the prompt. For help on a specific command or to determine what switches are available with a command, enter as much of the command as you know followed by a space and a question mark. For example, to get information on the switches used with the SET THIS_CONTROLLER command, enter:

SET THIS_CONTROLLER ?

Entering CLI Commands

Use the following tips and techniques when entering CLI commands:

Commands are not case sensitive.

For most commands, you only need to enter enough of the command to make the command unique. For example, SHO is the same as entering SHOW.
