Specify NODESTROY_UNFLUSHED_DATA in the following situations:

If the controller module has been replaced.

If the controller’s nonvolatile memory (NVMEM) has lost its contents.

Specify DESTROY_UNFLUSHED_DATA in the following situations:

If the cache module has been replaced.

Any other reason not listed above.

CAUTION: Specifying the DESTROY_UNFLUSHED_DATA switch destroys data remaining in cache, which can result in data loss.
